We are seeking a Production star to join our team! This is a full-time, year round position with competitive pay and many perks.
Are you interested in a career in winemaking, cidermaking or brewing? Would friends describe you as a stickler for following procedures and keeping things clean? Do you love physical labour and the idea of working for a farm-based cidery to produce award-winning cider? Then we’d love to hear from you!
The Job
The Production Technician is a key member of our Production Team, responsible for daily cider packaging activities and working side by side our other Production Associates. You are the floor lead on the packaging line and ensure that our daily goals on the packaging line are met. Your work week involves all types of production activities, from filling bottles and kegs to capping, labeling and warehousing. As a “front line” member of our Production Team, you play an important role in helping Sea Cider achieve its production targets.
Performance is assessed against daily production targets, product quality, maintaining a safe workspace, following packaging protocols, and contributing to a positive team culture. Team health & safety are always top priorities.
The work week is generally 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and the total annual target compensation is $40,000.
Comprehensive training will be provided, including training on packaging floor supervision, beverage packaging, forklift operations, cleaning and sanitation, packaging equipment maintenance, WHMIS, and of course, cider!
