Sea Cider Wins 9 Medals at Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP)

Sea Cider is thrilled to report that we have taken home nine medals for the nine ciders entered in the 2017 Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP)!

The twelfth annual Great Lakes International Cider and Perry competition, more commonly known as GLINTCAP was conducted in Grand Rapids, MI in early April 2017. The contest, which has grown year after year received a record 1,206 entries from 32 American states and 9 other countries this year, up 20% from 2016.

Judging was conducted by 90 judges divided into 30 panels, who evaluated ciders in a blind tasting with the assistance of 30 stewards as well as additional cellar staff. Judges were drawn from a broad pool of amateur and commercial cider makers, beverage writers, authors, academics, and other cider aficionados, and came from a wide geographical distribution stretching from the West Coast of North America to England.

Sea Cider was thrilled to take home medals in every category we entered!

Our winning ciders are listed as follows:
